Roy Hodgson will reportedly return to England from the World Cup in South Africa to sign a deal with Liverpool.
The Cottagers manager has been linked with the vacant Reds job for a few weeks now and it looks as though it will become a reality with club officials expecting to make an official announcement in the next couple of days.
Hodgson was touted as the next England boss if Fabio Capello failed to get the team into the Round of 16 but after that was achieved on Wednesday night, the Fulham boss is set to return home and thrash out a contract with the Anfield club to replace Rafael Benitez.
