Injury problems that have been haunting Arsenal all season can’t seem to stop and this apparently has pushed Arsene Wenger to do some activity in this January transfer market.

Speaking to the media ahead of Gunners’ league fixture against Manchester City, Wenger confirmed that they’re currently working hard to search for a defender.

The main reason for that decision is a long injury set back for French full back, Mathieu Debuchy, who will be out until April due to shoulder injury.

Wenger was very disappointed with Debuchy’s injury, but he is determined in seeking for the right replacement that can help improving Gunners’ defense.
