Tottenham Hotspur manager Andre Villas-Boas was delighted with the 2-1 victory his side earned against Southampton on Sunday as it lifted Spurs position into the top for place for the time being.
Speaking to the press after the match, Villas-Boas said that he was happy with his players’ performance especially the way they keep the ball in the first half, which earned them a two goals lead.
Although his side didn’t attack much in the second period, especially after Southampton managed to pull a goal back, Villas-Boas was still delighted since his boys showed their desire in holding that important result.
