Atletico Madrid head coach Diego Simeone was pleased with his team’s success in eliminating Sevilla from the Copa Del Rey semifinals after both teams shared a 2-2 draw in the second leg on Wednesday. Having already wont the first meeting 2-1, Atletico grabbed a ticket into the final for a meeting against their city rival, Real Madrid.
Speaking after the match, Simeone stated his delight with that result revealing that his team’s strong desire in winning the match help their cause. Although, Sevilla did put on a strong pressure, but the tactician stated that his players stood out well in holding their advantage.
