Already reaching the age of 37 doesn’t seem to stop AS Roma talisman, Francesco Totti, from showcasing his qualities as the skipper’s recent performance has triggered Cesare Prandelli’s interest to recall the veteran into Italian national side’s setup for upcoming 2014 World Cup.

This speculation received many supports, including from Roma’s head coach, Rudi Garcia, who even believes that Totti’s call up for Brazil 2014 will be befitting for everyone, including the Giallorossi.

Garcia believes that Prandelli shouldn’t doubt Totti’s physical condition as despite already reaching such veteran age for a professional footballer, the 37-year-old has so far showcased such strong fitness level as his contribution for Roma’s excellent season is still very big.

Totti himself in recent interview stated his willingness to joingthe national side should Prandelli officially calls him up for 2014 World Cup, but the skipper also noted that he will only do it should his fitness allows him.

Similar statement also arrived from Prandelli, who said that he will only consider calling back Totti should the World Cup 2006 winner can show that his physically capable contributing for the upcoming major event.
