Barcelona maintain their lead at the top of La Liga after trashing Rayo Vallecano 5-0 on Saturday, with Lionel Messi scoring twice, while other goals came from David Villa, Xavi Hernandez and Cesc Fabregas.
Speaking to the press after the match, Barca’s tactician Tito Vilanova said he was happy with the win as they deserved it considering their fine performance.
Furthermore, Vilanova also said he is delighted with the points Barca achieved so far as it’s not easy to collect 25 points from the possible 27. The tactician claimed that his players’ bold effort was the key for their current success in La Liga.
