There was obviously different reactions occurring following the result from Africa Cup of Nations’ quarter final between South Africa against Mali which ended in a victory for Patrice Carteron’s men via penalty shoot out.
Speaking after the match, Mali skipper, Seydou Keita can’t hide his joy admitted that their success really means a lot to them as it simply united everyone in the country. Keita added that their victory brought a proud feeling for them and also every people in their nation.
Meanwhile, Carteron also voiced out his happiness over his players’ effort in that tough encounter.
Disappointed reaction came from Bafana-bafana head coach, Gordon Igensund as his side couldn’t reach their ambition in winning the tournamnet. Still, he was proud with his team’s performance as they were simply unlucky on the day.
