Suffering a disappointing 3-0 defeat over their rival, Manchester City at Old Trafford on Tuesday, really put Manchester United back into reality after their previous two positive results that temporarily lifted their spirit.

That defeat makes it harder for them to compete for that fourth place seat chase by the end of season as they’re currently still struggling to move up from their seventh place spot, which won’t even qualify for Europa League football.

Acknowledging the disappointing overall form that they’ve been having up till now, Man United boss, David Moyes admitted that he is responsible for their current situation, as he believes his players already showed their commitment on the pitch.

Moyes also stated that although players’ performance on the pitch do have a more direct impact for Man United’s results, but the manager said that he is still the one who decides who should be played or not.

The former Everton boss also believes that Man United do have the players that can put on a much better performance and his hoping that they can show their quality in remaining matches.

Man United still have a tough task in Europa as they will be facing Bayern Munich in the quarter finals of UEFA Champions League, which is United’s last hope in keeping their European pedigree next season.
