Chelsea Signed Schwarzer from Fulham

Chelsea maybe strongly linked with a major transfer news for a new striker, but instead of sealing down one of their targeted forwards, Jose Mourinho’ s men snapped up a new keeper instead in Mark Schwarzer. The former Fulham goalie is being set as second fiddle to Peter Cech, who will mostly remains as Chelsea’s main keeper this upcoming season.

Schwarzer stated that he didn’t need much convincing in joining Mourinho’s squad as it’s a big club and currently one of the best in the world. Already at a later stage in his career, the Australian keeper doesn’t have any issue despite being signed on a one year-deal.
