As everyone already knows Lionel Messi is the best in the world and has been for years. As coach Pep Guardiola said this past week,

Messi is more than just a playmaker, he is a scorer, a defender, a on field coach, and most importantly the other teams worst nightmare.

The record is not like anything that people have ever seen before, Real Madrid had the record set at 15 games in a row since 1961 but that was all lost after the game this past week.

With Messi ad Barcelona clicking on all cylinders it is only a matter of time before they win everything this year. What most people probably already are aware of is that Lionel Messi overtook Christiano Ronaold’s scoring lead with a total of 24 for the Primera Division.
