Everton goalkeeper Tim Howard has insisted he is keen to remain cautious and believes it will take more than two wins in a row for the club to feel they are back on track.

The Toffees have responded positively to a recent wobble with victories over Wolves and Bolton to move themselves into ninth spot. But Howard has insisted there is still much work to be done. He said, ‘We try not to get caught up in the outside hype because it can all come out in the wash quickly.’

‘We’re getting stronger and stronger, and since I’ve been here we start to respond during hard periods and really push on. We went through a horrible run of games but two games later it looks ok.’
