Playing at home, Young Boys struggled early on as they found themselves trailing after 26 minutes through Josef Martinez's effort, before things seemed to get worse when Marco Schneuwly grabbed the second for Thun, closing that first period with 2-0 score line for the visitor.
After the break, Young Boys got their act together as they managed to pull one goal back on 54 minutes through Yuya Kubo, who also grabbed the equalizing goal on 65 minutes. The home side finally turned things around when Moreno Costanzo netting home the winning goal on 78 minutes.
