VPS 1-1 Honka highlights: There was a top three battle in Finland Veikkausliga this past midweek when VPS play host to Honka with both sides eager to pick up maximum points to keep their title challenge alive and kicking.
Knowing a win could brought them into the top of standings, both sides started in an attacking manner, but it was Honka that managed to snatch the lead when Tim Vayrynen scored on 16 minutes. That lead lasted for the first 45 minutes as both sides started their second period in similar fashion as they continue to search for goals.
Just when it seems that Honka will get away with all three points, VPS managed to cancel out that possibility when Sebastian Strandvall netting home with just two minutes left before the final 90. That final result means that VPS still sitting second in the standings within a point above Honka.
