Sweden 3-5 Germany highlights: Already ensuring their fate in the World Cup 2014 European qualifier, both Sweden and Germany were practically playing football for prestige more than anything else last Tuesday and a high scoreline basically proved it.

The home side already ensured a spot for upcoming play offs round while their opponent already securing a direct ticket to World Cup 2014 finals in Brazil. Eager to entertain their crowd, Sweden pushing hard early on as they got themselves in front after just six minutes through Tobias Hysen. However, Germany were not keen on suffering a defeat on their last group game as they fought back and pulled one goal back before half time through Mesut Ozil.

Joachim Low's men got their rhythm back after the break as they managed to draw level on 53 minutes from Mario Goetze's effort. Shortly after while, Chelsea's attacker, Andre Schurrle showcasing his quality by netting a third goal which turned things around on 57 minutes. Schurrle was not done yet as another strike helped his side extending their lead over Sweden, before Hysen grabbing his second to make it 4-3. Germany finally came away with all three points from that match as Schurlle completed his hat-trick with a fine effort on 76 minutes.
