The host who failed to score a goal in their previous six matches managed to end their drought after just seven minutes after Anthony Weber opened the scoring for Reims with his left-foot shot. Lille didn't plan to sit tight after conceding that goal, as they pour forward vigorously in search of an equalizer.
Despite creating more chances, it took quite a while before Lille finally managed to put get their desired equalizer. It was Dimitri Payet, who leveled things up for the visiting side with his effort in the 72nd minute. This result isn't really helping both teams, who are eager to lift their current positions.
