AS Roma v Cagliari Calcio highlights: Roma were aiming to end their winless streak in 2013 when they play host to struggling Cagliari at Olympico on Saturday, but things didn't according to plan.

Playing away from home, Cagliari managed to score first when Radja Nainggolan connected with Marco Sau's cross from the right flank after only three minutes of play. The home side didn't gave up hope as they managed to equalize in the 34th minute from a hard-low free kick scored by Francesco Totti, ending that first period in a 1-1 draw.

After the break, it was Cagliari again who got quickly out of the block as they regained their lead straight from the re-start from an own goal by Roma keeper, Mauro Goicoechea, who bizarrely missed his catch and allowing the ball to roll into his own net. The visitor's confidence was skying high after that incident as they added their third on 53 minutes through Sau's header from inside the box.

Things got much worse for Roma when Francesco Pisano grabbed a fourth goal for the visitor after he was left unmarked inside the penalty area before slotting the ball home. Roma can only netted a consolation deep in stoppage time through Marquinho's effort. A though defeat which also see the end of Zdenek Zeman's reign with the capital side.

AS Roma vs Cagliari . Score: 2-4.
