Two of the best footballing teams in The Championship come head-to-head on Friday night as Leeds host Reading at Elland Road.
The home side have had a frustrating loss of form in the last couple of weeks and their playoff chances are hanging in the balance, as Simon Grayson’s side have only won one of their last sixth matches. The Whites scored in the 88th minute on Saturday as they drew 2-2 with Watford at home, with Argentine forward Luciano Becchio getting on the scoresheet again. Grayson will call on the Elland Road faithful to be the 12th man in what should be a close game agaisnt Reading.
Reading are the form team in the Championship at the moment, and Brian McDermott’s side have won their last nine games in a row, powering them up to fourth place. The team from the Madejski Stadium are on 72 points, only three off the automatic promotion places and they beat Leicester 3-1 last weekend with goals from Jobi McAnuff, Jimmy Kebe and Noel Hunt. Ian Harte should start at left back for the Royals against his old club.
