Cristiano Ronaldo is either hated or loved by millions of football fans worldwide and is constantly compared to genius, Lionel Messi!
The Portugese star may not be as talented as the small Argentinian, but he certainly has a lot more media attention and advertising as he may seem as the “prettier” player compared to Messi!
Ronaldo started his career at Portugese club, Sporting Lisbon but then moved to English club, Manchester United for a fee of £12 million after Sir Alex Ferguson was extremely impressed with the wingers performance in a friendly against the club back in 2003.
He had many successful seasons with United bagging nearly 200 goals with his time at the club, until back in 2009 he completed his move to kid favourite club, Real Madrid for a record breaking fee of £80 million.
Ronaldo has enjoyed his spell at Real Madrid but is yet to lift a major trophy with the Spanish club.
I’m sure Ronaldo will go far in football despite not being number footballer at the moment.
