The Bundesliga had new champions in 2010/11, and a number of the smaller teams overachieved and qualified for Europe. With all eyes on the upcoming season, Titanbet has released it’s odds for the potential winners of the 2012 title, with an old name the favourites to bounce back and regain their title.

Bayern Munich has a disappointing 2010/11, losing out ot Inter in the knockout stages of the Champions League and finishing third in their domestic league. Louis van Gaal was dismissed towards the end of the season, and the Bavarian club will be looking for a fresh start next term. Die Roten have added a number of players to their ranks in the summer including Manuel Neuer and Rafinha, but will look to continue their spending. Titanbet has Germany’s biggest team as favourites for the title, at odds of 1.65.

Borussia Dortmund won their first title since 2002 last campaign, with Jurgen Klopp’s team showing an exciting and entertaining brand of football to lift the crown. BVB have a young side full of potential and will look to contest both at home and in Europe in 2011/12. The sale of Nuri Sahin to Real Madrid will be a blow for Die Borussen, but they still have a side of excellent players. Titanbet gives them odds of 6.00 to retain their league title. Bayer Leverkusen faded away towards the end of the 2010/11 season in their quest for glory, but still managed an excellent second placed finish. The side from the BayArena have had a few quiet years after a strong squad contended for the Champions League in the early 2000’s, but Jupp Heynckes side will look to emulate their predecessors and finish one position higher next year. The side look to Chilean midfielder Arturo Vidal for inspiration, and keeping the South American at the club is a high priority. Titanbet believes the side are in with a chance of success in 2012, and give odds of 11.00 for them to lift the title.

Schalke had a great season in the Champions League in 2010/11, reaching the semi-finals, but due to their European heroics their form in the Bundesliga suffered. Ralf Rangnick’s men finished down in 14th place, which was a massive disappointment for the Gelschenkirchen fans. They did however win the DKB Pokal and will compete in the Europa League next season; despite this the side will look to improve in the league. Titanbet gives them odds of 17.00 to lift their first Bundelsiga title since 1958.

Similar to Schalke, Wolfsburg underperformed in the 2010/11 season and finished in 15th place in a poor year for the club. The side from the Volkswagen arena are not short of quality and coach Felix Magath needs to get the best out of the resources at his disposal. Brazilian playmaker Diego joined the club from Juventus but has to date failed to make an impact; a fit and focussed Diego could led Die Wolfe to glory. Titanbet has the side as fifth favourites at odds of 21.00.

Werder Bremen were knocked out of the Champions League group stages last season, and focus on Europe again meant a poor domestic season. A 13th placed finish was not up to the high standards of the Weserstadion fans, and without international football to distract them this season a better effort will be expected. A team full of international players, Titanbet has Werder at odds of 21.00 also.

Hamburg are at odds of 26.00 after their eighth placed finish in 2010/11, and Die Rothosen will look to emulate the side of 1983 that lifted the Bundesliga title for the club. Bruno Labaddia’s Stuttgart side are at odds of 29.00 to record a suprise title win, and will rely on players such as Cacau and Pavel Pogrebynak if they are to have a successful season.

Of the real outsiders Mainz stands out at odds of 81.00, as they recorded an excellent fifth placed finish last season with limited resources. Kaiserslautern are at odds of 251.00, whilst Titanbet offer 501.00 for newly promoted FC Augsburg.

Bayern Munich fans will go into the season looking to regain their place as Germany’s top team, but they are sure to face competition from a number of sides. For the latest odds, previews and news stick with Titanbet and 1000 goals.
