City’s academy travelled to Barnsley on Saturday 18 March to face the team with the best defensive record in Academy Football.

After testing Barnsley’s goalkeeper several times and rattling the woodwork twice, City finally found the lead after a pin-point cross was headed into the back of the net by hot prospect Jordi Hiwula.

Courtney Meppen-Walter then sealed off the fixture with a screamer from 25 yards in the final stages of the game.
