German international midfielder, Toni Kroos completed his move to Real Madrid as he was officially presented as new Los Blancos player on Thursday in front of enthusiastic fans.

Speaking in the press conference, Kroos couldn’t hide his joy in joining Real Madrid claiming that the Spanish club is a step above his former side, Bayern Munich, which is a very bold statement indeed from the World Cup 2014 winner.

The midfielder also denied that his reason to depart from Bayern was because there was an issue with head coach, Pep Guardiola as Kroos revealed that Madrid’s interest on him was the trigger for him in arriving at Santiago Bernebau.

Being linked with other top teams, especially Manchester United before his move, the 24-year-old confirmed that Madrid was his main destination and there was no other options for him.
