Colombian star striker, Radamel Falcao, picked up a bad injury not long ago which looks to jeopardize his shot in playing for 2014 World Cup, but his strike partnership in the national side, Jackson Martinez, still believes that the Monaco attacker will return for Brazil.

Although isn’t able to confirm anything, Martinez sees that Falcao has the will and spirit to recover for that upcoming major competition.  “The way he’s(Falcao) going about his recovery is very impressive. He’s always been very dedicated.  All of us Colombians are willing him to be able to play at the World Cup,” Martinez revealed.

However, despite admitting his hope in seeing Falcao return for WC 2014, but Martinez also stated that it’s much more important for the ex-Atletico Madrid star to fully recover from his injury and start playing again.

Speaking more about his national team, Martinez  lauds the talent that Colombia currently possessed, claiming that it’s even better than their 1994 squad, which were also full of quality players.

Being paired with the likes of Greece, Ivory Coast and Japan, Colombia are being considered as favorite to get through from that group, but Martinez warned his teammates not to take things lightly.
