Paraguay 2-5 Argentina highlights: Argentina national side made their way into 2014 World Cup after snatching a convincing away win over Paraguay this past midweek.
Playing away from home, Argentina immediately took the attacking initiative as they went one goal up from Lionel Messi's spot kick on 11 minutes. That lead didn't last long though as the host managed to draw level within just six minutes through Ariel Nunez. Albiceleste managed to regain their lead just after the half hour mark when Sergio Aguero netting home to make it 2-1.
After the break, things got much brighter for the away side as they extended their lead on 50 minutes through Angel Di Mari and three minutes later it was 4-1 as Messi netted from the spot once again. Paraguay reduced the damage with an effort from Roque Santa Cruz on 86 minutes, but just minutes before the final whistle was blown, Maxi Rodriguez wrapped things up for Argentina with a fifth goal.
