Fernando Torres’ return to his boyhood club, Atletico Madrid is basically complete as he passed the required medical check up already and set for a formal presentation at Vicente Calderon on January 4th.
The Spanish striker could also make his debut for Los Rojiblancos soon on a prestigious Copa Der Rey derby against city rival, Real Madrid, next midweek.
Torres himself is already excited and can’t really wait any longer to start things out with Atletico, stating his even looking forward for the training session with his teammates.
It’s a rather interesting twist indeed for Torres as this summer he was being loaned out by Chelsea to AC Milan, but this January he leave on an 18 moth loan deal towards Atletico after Milan made his transfer permanent.
