CF Monterrey 4-2 Santos Laguna highlights: Monterrey got their hands again on this season Concacaf Champions League after grabbing a convincing victory over their rival Santos Laguna on the secon leg final this past midweek.
Drawing 0-0 in the first leg, Monterrey were keen on taking their home court advantage, but it was the away side that managed to score first through Carlos Quintero on 38 minutes. That goal stood until the first 45 minutes, silencing the home crowd who were not really expecting it. Things didn't look good for he host early in the second period as they conceded another goal, this time from Felipe Baloy's effort.
However, Monterrey were not in the mood for losing out as they hit back fiercely,starting with a goal on the hour mark through de Nigris. The homeside finally grabbed the equlalizing goal on 83 minutes from Neri Cardozo, beford de Nigris completed the turn around with his second strike on the match three minutes later. The host sealed their victory with a fourth goal which was netted by Humberto Suazo deep in stoppage time, giving much joy to the home crowd.
