Borussia Moenchengladbach keeping hold of their top four seat in Bundesliga this weekend after picking up an important home win over Schalke on Saturday. The direct battle for fourth place seat challenge was an interesting one indeed with the away side making a brighter start with Jefferson Farfan putting them in front after 17 minutes of play from the spot kick.
That goal triggered positive response from Gladbach though as they pushed forward in search for an equalizing goal which they did earn on 24 minutes through Raffael. The home side continuing their attacking display and eventually turning things around just before half time break with a penalty effort from Max Kruse. No more goals were scored though in the second half as neither sides managed to convert their chances, giving the home fans much joy as their side are looking more comfortable in fourth place seat.
