GOAL Wigan 0-1 Arsenal (Mikel Arteta)
Arsenal goal: Oh dear, a howler from Wigan keeper Ali Al Habsi as Mikel Arteta drills in a shot from 25 yards and he makes a total hash of saving it. The ball goes right through him and inyo the back of the net. Real test for Wigan now.

GOAL Wigan 0-2 Arsenal (Thomas Vermaelen)
Arsenal goal: Two in as many minutes for Arsenal as Thomas Vermaelen rises highest to get on the end of a Robin van Persie corner and head in at the far post. Again you would have to sasy that Ali Al Habsi may have done a bit better with that one.

GOAL Wigan 0-3 Arsenal (Gervinho)
Arsenal goal: Dangerman Robin van Persie sees his fierce shot parried by Ali al Habsi in the Wigan goal and Gervinho follows up for a simple tap-in. There could be more goals here yet as well.

GOAL Wigan 0-4 Arsenal (Robin van Persie)
Arsenal goal: There we go, the compulsory goal for Arsenal skipper Robin van Persie who bags his 13th goal in his last nine league games. Theo Walcott does all the hard graft for him, breaking through the defence before squaring to Van Persie who easily slots home from 10 yards.
