Arsene Wenger took a rare Arsenal clean sheet as progress following their goalless draw with Marseille on Tuesday evening.
The Gunners looked more resilient than in previous matches and kept a clean sheet for the first time since the two sides met in the Champions League a fortnight ago. Wenger told SkySports, ‘It was a game where we were still physically not the strongest and Marseille started stronger but I still feel in the first half we had chances to win the game’.
‘You have to give credit to Marseille, they defended very well and stopped us from playing’.
