Brazilian club Corinthians have confirmed they are still interested in signing Manchester City outcast Carlos Tevez. The Argentinean star looks to be on his way out of the club after allegedly refusing to play against Bayern Munich two weeks ago.

Corinthians attempted to sign the striker in the summer but were unsuccessful. Yet their director of football Edu stated, ‘It was quite difficult to sign him because at the time it was shortly before our transfer window closed. Now we are here and we will talk and see what the situation is and we will look to sign him in the summer’.

‘I will talk to the president – we offered £35 million and now the money we had we have spent some of as that is football…the fans want him’.
