The FC Barcelona man and club-mate Xavi Hernández dictated much of the play, and it was little surprise when Iniesta teed up the opening goal for his midfield partner. The 24-year-old then played the pass of the match to release Cesc Fàbregas in the build up to Spain’s third goal that sealed their passage to the Vienna showpiece against Germany.
