High profile Italian referee Roberto Rosetti has hung up his whistle.
Rosetti has decided to end his career and become the new designator for Serie B.
The FIFA-listed official had two years left in his career before retirement, due to age limits, but opted to draw the curtain before the deadline.
Rosetti took part in this summer’s World Cup and was heavily criticised for allowing Carlos Tevez’s goal in the game between Argentina and Mexico.
