Schalke failed to grab all three points on their latest Europa League home fixture after being held into a draw by Sparta Prague. The home side started off brightly as they found themselves in front after just six minutes of play through Franco Di Santo's goal.

Schalke's ambition in pushing for runners up spot in current Germany Bundesliga standings was halted as this weekend they were held into a draw by Werder Bremen. Playing away from home, Schalke were not shy in putting on an attacking approach as they needed a win to keep pace with current second place, Borussia Dortmund.
