Zidane’s Headbutt Moment Immortalize Into Statue in Paris

Zinedine Zidane’s contribution for French football throughout his playing years can be considered pretty huge, so it’s not a surprise that many want to immortalize his acts even into stone.

Recently a statue of Zidane was unveiled in Paris, it showed one of the player’s latest memorable act, the headbutt towards Italian defender, Marco Materazzi, in 2006 World Cup.

Although it might not be Zidane’s most glorious moment, but it’s still a memorable token from his wonderful career in world football.

The statue, designed by Algerian artist Adel Abdessemed, is currently being showcase in front of the Pompidou Centre.
