Following the footsteps of several teams, Japan head coach, Alberto Zaccheroni has already confirmed his 23-men squad for upcoming World Cup 2014, adding that his team doesn’t fear anyone in that tournament.
Speaking to the media as it was quoted on FIFA, Zaccheroni stated that his side do have huge respect towards their opponents, especially the ones they’re facing in group C, but the tactician added that there’s no reason for his team to fear any sides.
“We will respect our opponents but certainly won’t be frightened. If you go into a game with fear, you’re in trouble. We need to go in prepared and bring our own qualities. We have a lot of attacking players,” the tactician explained.
The head coach himself has prepared his best possible squad that will compete in Brazil later this year, naming several top names such as Keisuke Honda, Shinji Kagawa and also Yuto Nagatomo.
Although the Asian champions is not being considered as favorite even to get into the next stage of that tournament, but Zaccheroni is confident that his players can produce something special in Brazil.
