It’s not a secret anymore that Yaya Toure’s future with Manchester City is looking really bleak under Pep Guardiola and things doesn’t get any better as the midfielder has been left out from City’s Champions League squad.
Featuring in just one game so far with Man City, it’s not really a surprise if Toure was the player being sacrificed by Guardiola for his team’s upcoming Champions League group stage battle.
Despite being featured in City’s UCL second leg tie against Steaua Bucharest, but when it mattered, there’s no place for Toure, especially since Vincent Kompany along with Ilkay Gundogan are set to fully recover soon.
Man City themselves will be facing tough opponents in their Champions League group stage with teams such as Barcelona, Borussia Moenchengladbach along with Celtic ready to challenge Guardiola’s side.
