Talented young Wales international striker, Ben Woodburn decided to commit his future playing with Liverpool as the striker signed a new deal recently.
The youngster seemingly beliefs that he will eventually have that shot in playing regularly for Jurgen Klopp’s first team squad, something that might not happen at other top Premier League teams.
Speaking to the club’s official social media page, Woodburn stated his beliefs that at Liverpool there’s going to be a path leading into that first team football.
Although he already had several appearances for Klopp’s squad, but the 18-year-old is eyeing that regular spot, where he can fully be part of The Reds’ main team.
Competition for first team place in current Liverpool front line won’t be an easy task, but Woodburn seemingly has that beliefs of eventually making it, otherwise he won’t be extending his current deal.
Albeit very keen on getting games for the first team, for now, the Welshman is more than happy to carry on his sting with Reds’ under 19 squad.
Nevertheless, he also prepares to work hard in improving every aspect of his game, so that he can be completely ready for regular first team football sooner rather than later.
Having another talented academy player will certainly bring that certain excitement for die hard Liverpool fans as they expect another Steven Gerrard can lead their team to glory.
