Dimitri Payet’s fine performance throughout Euro 2016 for his national side, France, have reportedly attracted strong attention from many teams, but his current club, West Ham won’t let him leave easily.
That decision was made by the Premier League club’s co-owner, David Gold, who stated in an interview that he won’t even discussed about potential sale of Payet for a fee below 50 million pounds.
Gold acknowledge that many top clubs are showing interest on the French winger, but that doesn’t mean Payet will be sold easily.
Moreover, Gold even stated that in truth for him, Payet is not for sale as the 29-year-old West Ham’s team are basically build around him.
Despite potential attraction of Champions League football elsewhere, Gold is confident that he can continue to make his star man happy and won’t even consider leaving the club.
