Wenger Hopes Arsenal Players Not Losing Confidence Over Recent Results

After seemingly getting themselves back running well in the league, Arsenal picked up minor set backs as they haven’t won in their last three games in the Premier League following their 0-0 draw against West Ham this midweek.

Despite disappointed with those results, Gunners’ boss, Arsene Wenger urged his players not to lose their confidence and beliefs again, as the tactician is confident that their recent set back is just another temporary thing.

Speaking to the media after their tie against West Ham, Wenger said that Arsenal’s recent results didn’t really fit with the performances they put on, adding that the current situation won’t last.

Wenger admitted that he is frustrated with their winless run in the league, but not because of his team’s poor display as in contrary the Frenchman is irritated because they played well enough to get something more.

After losing 3-1 against Manchester United, Gunners have drawn their last two matches against Southampton and The Hammers, putting their top four bid stuck again.

Moreover, aside hoping that his players not losing their confidence, Wenger also want his players to keep on fighting and never lose any hope despite winning a league title looks like a lost cause at the moment with Manchester City’s dominance.
