Yet to snatch any of their target up front, Arsenal opted to depart with some of their strikers instead as Arsene Wenger confirmed that they will be no longer using the service of Gervinho along with Marouane Chamakh for this upcoming season. Speaking to the press, Wenger confirmed that Gervinho is heading towards AS Roma, while Chamakh will be playing for newly promoted side, Crystal Palace.
Many believes that the departure of those two attackers, are being done to make way for a certain Luis Suarez, who is currently still under negotiation with Liverpool.
