Villas-Boas Still Trust Friedel as Spurs’ Number One

Having four good goalkeepers apparently doesn’t give much of a selection headache for Tottenham Hotspurs manager, Andre Villas-Boas, who still have an ultimate faith on his current number one, Brad Friedel.

Villas-Boas’ decision in keeping Friedel as his first choice raised some questions from French media, as they were expecting that Hugo Lloris, who was bought in the summer by Spurs would be the main keeper.

The Portuguese manager did explained his decision to the press, saying that currently he can’t replace Friedel because the American is performing well.  However, Villas-Boas did promise to give Lloris a chance, soon.
