After selling some of their important players in the last days of summer transfer, Real Madrid apparently is taking a different approach with some of their young talents, notably French defender, Raphael Varane, as he was given a new deal to stay at Santiago Bernebau.
Despite haven’t been starting regularly so far this season, Varane is still being considered a very important part of Los Blancos side, especially for the future as he has shown tons of potential as a center back.
The new deal will see Varane stay at Santiago Bernebau until 2020, which means that Madrid has basically tied him from potential approach from other top European teams.
Varane’s extension is a positive move indeed made by Madrid management, as they’re looking to redeem themselves after recent criticism made by fans who were upset with Angel Di Maria and Xabi Alonso’s sale.
