Suffering a 2-0 defeat on their boxing day fixture against Stoke City seemingly put Louis Van Gaal’s future at Manchester United on the brink of exit, but the tactician remain tight lipped with that possibility.
Speaking to the media right after that weekend game, Van Gaal didn’t answer any speculation regarding his future, noting that it’s something that he will only discuss with Man United’s board.
Nevertheless, the Dutch manager even stated that he himself is not afraid of quitting the Red Devils job, but it’s not something he is keen on sharing outside of the club circle.
Van Gaal is still confident that he won’t be going anywhere for their upcoming match against Chelsea, though the Dutchman can’t really guarantee anything for now.
Recent string of bad results have really put the veteran manager under enormous pressure especially since his team have been constantly slammed for their uninspiring brand of football under the Dutchman.
