Valencia failed to impose themselves against Paris Saint-Germain in the first leg of UEFA Champions League as the Spanish side got beaten 2-1 at Mestalla stadium.
This result was obviously disappointing for El Che tactician, Ernesto Valverde, but he admitted that PSG are a very strong side and his team didn’t start the match well enough. However, with the goal they created in that match, the coach remains optimistic about their chance in going through, despite having to play their second leg in Paris.
Valverde urged his players to keep trying their best in the second leg as long as there’s still opportunity.
