Less than four months into the job, Gary Neville’s coaching experience with Valencia came to an end on March 30 as the Spanish side confirmed on their official twitter.

That news was not much of a surprise for many football enthusiasts considering the results that El Che have been having under Neville’s tenure.

Valencia only managed to win three games out of 16 under Neville with eight defeats and five draws, putting them sitting 14th in current standings.

In place of Neville, El Che decided to take their former assistant coach, Pako Ayestaran as temporary solution until the end of season.

Despite being able to get into Champions League spot last season, this time around things are falling downwards for El Che as they’re only six points away from the drop zone.
