A rather disappointing news arrived from Bayern Munich’s camp as the Bundesliga giant will be losing their number one keeper, Manuer Neuer once again after the German international picking up another injury.
The bad news was announced by Bayern’s official website themselves, confirming that the goalie injured his left foot which will keep him out of their upcoming tie against Schalke while another examination set to be done on Tuesday.
It’s certainly not something that Carlo Ancelotti is keen on hearing, notably since there’s a possibility that Neuer could be missing out on more than the Bavarian’s upcoming Bundesliga tie against Schalke.
Reports from Germany claiming that the German number one’s current injury is on the same foot which forced him to miss plenty of games at the end of last season and was only back into action last month.
Neuer’s injury problems added to Bayern’s early list, which includes the likes of David Alaba and Juan Bernat, while Arjen Robben is also reported to have an illness which might also keep him out from the Schalke’s game.
The keeper’s absence will certainly be felt should he indeed missing out for longer period as next midweek itself, the German outfit are set to face a tough challenge in Europe as they face up against Paris Saint-Germain.
