Tottenham Hotspur showcasing their neighborly rival, Arsenal that North London derby is not something that Gunners can dominate anymore notably after another three points earned by the Lilywhites.

Staging the tie at Wembley stadium, Tottenham were very determined in grabbing maximum points, while the same can be said for Gunners as they are keen in showing their new strength after their big January transfer.

It was a tight encounter during that 45 minutes though with neither teams were able to convert any of their chances, forcing that period to end in a goalless draw.

However, Spurs came alive early after the re-start as they immediately took control of proceedings and got themselves ahead on 49 minutes through their star striker, Harry Kane.

That early second half striker gave the home side that edge in controlling that tie as they created plenty chances, but couldn’t find the net once again.

Nevertheless, that 1-0 victory was enough to give Mauricio Pochettino’s men all three points as their chase for that top four seat continue, while they also prepare for upcoming Champions League battle against Italian giant, Juventus.

As for Arsenal, it was certainly a disappointing result, especially coming off a confident 5-1 league win over Everton in previous fixture.
