Tottenham Destroyed by Arsenal, Liverpool Edged Everton

Tottenham Hotspur’s run of excellent results ended this past weekend as Mauricio Pochettino’s men were beaten by their arch rival Arsenal 4-2 at Emirates Stadium.

Playing away from home, the Lilywhites didn’t have a great start as they were under pressure early on and eventually found themselves going a goal down from Pierre Aubameyang’s spot kick after just 10 minutes of play.

The visitor reacted well though after going down as they were able to play their football and got back on level terms on the half hour mark through Eric Dier’s effort.

Things suddenly turned into Spurs favor as four minutes later Harry Kane made it 2-1 after converting a spot kick, giving his side that slender lead as they go into half time break.

That match take another turn after the break as Gunners found their way back soon after Aubameyang netted the equalizing goal on 56 minutes.

Goals from Alexandre Lacazette and Lucas Torreira in just few minutes pretty much ended that tie as Arsenal grabbed an important win in front of their home crowd.

Meanwhile, Liverpool also keeping their chase for top spot seat alive and well following their last minute victory over neighboring rival, Everton.

It was a rather tight encounter and looked to be ending in goalless draw before a fortunate last ditch effort from Divock Origi secured all three points for Jurgen Klopp’s men.
