Rising into the international scene in recent time especially with their World Cup qualifier, many people are considering Belgium as one of the potential dark horses for the upcoming competition.
However, Red Devils’ main goal keeper, Thibaut Cortouis tried to calm down all of that expectation as he believes that current Belgium squad are still very young and inexperienced to compete in that competition.
Although only considering the upcoming World Cup as a learning curve, Courtouis ensured their fans that he and his teammates will give their all in that upcoming tournament.
“We’ve got loads of players at big clubs but a World Cup is a world apart. You have to approach it with humility We’re looking at the World Cup as a great experience and we’re going to try and go as far as we possibly can,” the goal keeper said to FIFA.com
Courtois himself is also being tapped to enjoy a successful World Cup this summer due to his excellent performance for Atletico Madrid in the last couple seasons, which giving him that status as one of Europe’s best young goal keeper at the moment.
