Starting off the new season in a positive fashion, not many Premier League fans were expecting that Garry Monk will be sacked by Swansea City, but that pretty much what happened this midweek.
Following another defeat last weekend, Monk has officially been fired by Swansea as that match against Leicester was basically his last resort.
Only managed to pick up one league win out of their last 11 matches apparently was more than enough results for the Swans’ management in parting ways with Monk.
That decision also marked the tactician’s 11 years tenure for the club, starting as a player, before eventually moving up as manager in place of Michael Laudrup.
