Strachan Explains Boyd Calls Up for Scotland

Scotland national team manager Gordon Strachan is preparing his best possible squad to face their upcoming 2014 World Cup qualification games, later this month and one of the player who attracted many attention from local press is Hull City’s George Boyd. Receiving his first ever call up for the Scottish senior side, Boyd looks to pick up his debut in the upcoming matches as Strachan frequently praises the winger’s individual quality.

Strachan said that Boyd deserved to get a call up, especially since his performances have personally been attracting the manager for quite some time now. The tactician believes that his called up players are those who can provide the best performance for Scotland.
